Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our annual school events include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- performances, concerts or school productions
- fundraising, charity and community events
- award assemblies

Clean-up Australia Day
Date: 6 March 2026
Time: 9:15am
Get your gloves on and give back to the place we call home.
ANZAC Day
Yetman’s ANZAC Day Ceremony will be held at the Memorial Hall, commencing at 11am.
For those people who would like to participate in the march, please meet at the school prior to 10:45am.
We would like to encourage descendants of those who participated in any of the wars Australia has been involved in to march, wearing their ancestors medals. These medals are to be worn on the right breast.
Community members are welcome to bring wreaths to lay at the memorial.
Book Week
Date: 22-28 August 2026
The theme for the 2026 Children's Book Council of Australia's celebrations is Symphony of Stories.
We look forward to seeing where our students' imaginations take them when dressing up for our annual Book Parade!
